The first Souled Out event was held in August 2000 at Coleg y Bala (the Presbyterian Church of Wales’ Youth and Children’s Centre) with a vision to encourage and equip a new generation of young people to serve Christ’s Church. The work of Souled Out has gathered and grown ever since.
Souled Out has since emerged as a network seeking to develop disciples and leaders for the nation of Wales and beyond.
The Church will always need new generations of disciples and leaders that are Christ-like, faithful and full of vision.
Souled Out exists to play a part in this, by gathering, encouraging and equipping youth, students and young adults to make a Kingdom difference in their generation. Over the years, we rejoice that many have been impacted by this work and have found opportunities to serve Christ across Wales and beyond.
Our vision is to see Wales impacted with the Gospel and shared by people who long to see the Church revived in the 21st Century.
God has spoken to us through His Son Jesus, and His book, the Bible. So we trust in Jesus, teach the Bible and try to do what God says.
God tells everyone that they need to be saved from their sins through Jesus’ death on the cross. So we tell everyone this too and lots of people believe God and get right with Him.
God wants people to enjoy Him, so our worship is fresh, relevant and filled with the Holy Spirit. We expect God to speak to us as youth and young adults and Souled Out is led by what He says.
God is on a mission that really matters and we long to be co-workers in His mission.
